All you have to do, is get to La Ronge! Typically, our guests fly to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. From there, you may rent a vehicle to drive the  4 1/2 - 5 hour drive.

La Ronge, Saskatchewan

Once you arrive in La Ronge, you’ll want to check in at the Waterbase (located inside the Waterbase Inn).

They will already have the number of people & name of your group.

This is where your package begins!

Your flight to BLACK BEAR ISLAND LODGE will be approximately 20 minutes. Keep your eyes open, many guests have reported seeing bear & moose along the way.

Upon arrival to BLACK BEAR ISLAND LODGE, you’ll be greeted by DJ and DAWN ENNS, as well as, their staff. BBIL staff will deliver your luggage to your cabin.

At 7 pm all the fishing guests will meet in the main lodge for dinner; bear hunters will receive a hot meal after their hunt.

After dinner you have the option of fishing in front of the lodge, or you may take in a warm cozy bon fire. After a long day of fishing, a delicious hot meal and a long day on the lake, you’ll be ready for bed.....

Around 6:30 am, hot coffee will be delivered to your door; this is your wake up call for breakfast.

7 am will find you in the main lodge for a hearty breakfast - you’ll need your strength for all the fishing you’ll be doing!

8 am Make sure you grab your snacks for the day! There will be drinks, candy, and chips available in the BBIL DEN.

When you’re ready, your guide will be at the dock with your boat and items needed for shore lunch. Once you’re on board, you’ll be off for the day.....
